Meet the Team

Portrait of Nora Brady

Nora Brady

she/her

Member & Director of the Roastery

Nora manages the staff and operations of our roastery. With a 17-year career in specialty coffee — including seven full cycles of US Barista Championship competitions — she’s passionate about building deep relationships in our community and in the specialty coffee industry. Her days include things like product development and merchandising, art direction and photo styling, marketing, coffee selection, team meetings, customer support, and consulting for wholesale partners. Outside of work, Nora’s 7- and 1.5-year-old kids and her very old house keep her busy. (In a future, less demanding phase of life, Nora looks forward to spending time hiking, camping, running, reading, and writing again.)

Portrait of Mike Marquard

Mike Marquard

he/him

Member & chief financial officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Mike works with leaders across the company, offering mentorship on everything from coffee quality to green coffee purchasing to wholesale and website sales, with a special focus on Blueprint’s financial health and sustainability. He also leads our sister company, STL Coffee Equipment Service (STLCES), which provides coffee equipment service and maintenance to our own cafés, wholesale partners, and coffee industry partners throughout the St. Louis region. Mike’s expertise and skills are broad and wide — he’s the one who can answer all our extremely specific questions and solve problems that stump the rest of us. When he’s not working, Mike is usually playing baseball, watching his sons play baseball, or cooking with his daughter.

Kevin Reddy

he/him

Member & director of retail

Kevin leads our retail team: he coordinates, manages, directs, and supports retail operations. Many of his workdays are spent behind the bar at one (or more than one) of our cafés: you might see him dialing in coffee, making drinks and food, handling troubleshooting and facility maintenance, washing dishes, or serving guests. Kevin has the kind of friendly presence that makes everyone walking in the door feel welcome and at ease. His 18-year coffee career makes Kevin an excellent mentor to our retail leaders and team members, and his leadership keeps our retail operations running smoothly, day after day. If you run into Kevin outside our cafés, it will probably be on a bike — few St. Louisans have put more miles on their bicycles than Kevin, who usually commutes to work on two wheels — or around the Delmar Loop walking his dog.

Mazi Razani

he/him

Member & production manager

Mazi is responsible for making sure all our coffee is roasted perfectly: he determines roast profiles for each new coffee that arrives, and adjusts them as the coffee ages, maintaining Blueprint’s high quality standards. Our Production team is a well-oiled machine, and Mazi is its engine. He manages the production team, works with Ethan to roast coffee and fulfill orders, and ensures that every order leaving our doors is correct. No one is more in tune with the idiosyncrasies of our nearly-century-old coffee roaster than Mazi, who once sacrificed his facial hair to save it from a fire. Mazi is also a devoted dad to his daughter and stepson. An avid and enthusiastic NBA-watcher, Mazi is by far Blueprint’s biggest Knicks fan.

Cher Denny

she/her

Green Buyer

Cher has been part of the Blueprint Coffee team since 2017, though she’s been in our orbit for much longer. As Director of Green Coffee, Cher is responsible for everything that it takes to get coffee from its farm through our roastery and to your cup. She establishes and maintains partnerships with producers, importers, and exporters; analyzes coffee quality and evaluates samples to determine which coffees will become part of our lineup; contracts for the green coffees we purchase; and manages logistics like freight and inventory. Cher balances complex logistics and relationships that span the globe — and her naturally calm presence and easy friendliness somehow make it look easy. Outside of work, Cher’s church community helps inspire her thoughtfulness and commitment to service.

Ryan Stakes

he/him

Director of Hospitality

As Director of Hospitality, Ryan works with retail leaders and baristas across the company. With nine years of experience at Blueprint, Ryan is full of wisdom to share with our entire team — each day he helps us grow more skillful, consistent, and confident in providing excellent service to everyone who visits our coffee bars. If Ryan has ever served you coffee, you’ll know that the hospitality that he shows to each and every guest is unparalleled and deeply genuine. You can usually find Ryan behind the bar in one of our three cafés (or biking between them). Ryan is also a talented drummer in two bands — he’d love to see you at a Bleach Balta or Freckles show.

T Schultz

they/them

Company Administrator

As Company Administrator, T works with all our leaders to manage the finances and health of the business. They make sure our bills get paid, our orders are invoiced and paid, and taxes are filed. They also manage cash flow, financial reporting, payroll, and some customer service. T’s diligent management allows our company to thrive as we grow. Since the start of 2026, T has worked remotely from Wisconsin, where they moved to care for family. (We’re thankful for the dog-sitting gigs that bring them back to St. Louis frequently enough that we never have to go too long without their company.) When they’re not working, T loves to read, write, and hike — lately, T and their mom have been hiking segments of the Ice Age Trail.

Laura Therina

she/her

Wholesale Account Manager
& Sales Representative

Laura tends to our mutually beneficial relationships with existing wholesale partners, and she manages incoming sales and partnership inquiries. If you’re a new or current wholesale partner, Laura will help you find the coffee and equipment that meets your and your customers’ needs. After she makes herself a morning espresso, her days might include troubleshooting and support visits to local partners, meeting with potential new partners, quoting equipment packages, coordinating equipment service, or reaching out to new businesses that could be a good match for our coffee and services. In her spare time, Laura has slowly been learning Italian, just for fun. Un caffé, per favore!

MG Batts

she/her

Graphic Designer

Mary Grayson — or MG, as most people call her — is Blueprint’s graphic designer. She came to Blueprint in the summer of 2018 as part of the inaugural staff of our Watson café. Now, from her desk at HQ, she works on everything from product packaging, labels, menus and signage to social media, marketing, copywriting, merch, and special projects. She loves shaping and sharing Blueprint’s voice — helping us look and sound our best everywhere we show up, from retail shelves to printed documents, social media, and our website. MG is also mom to a toddler, a Nicolas Cage completist, and the second biggest Bright Eyes fan in the office (can you guess the first?).

Ethan Heberer

he/him

Roaster & Production Lead

Ethan joined our team in 2021 as a seasoned barista moving from the west coast back to Missouri, where he was born and raised. Today, he’s an invaluable part of our production crew, working alongside Mazi to roast all our coffee. Ethan approaches roasting coffee much like his art practice: a daily exercise of intention, craft, and skill, full of trial and error and the discovery of true beauty. Ethan is also a gifted artist (his studio is called Flowering Peace). Blueprint fans may recognize some of Ethan’s drawings on our merch shelf, and his artwork decorates the production room at our roastery. At home, Ethan loves spending time with his wife and their 2-year old son, making art as much as possible, and skateboarding all over town when the St. Louis weather permits.

Portrait of Marija Lajsic

Marija Lajsic

she/her

Equipment Tech

When one of our coffee bars, or a wholesale partners’, needs emergency coffee equipment service, Marija is dispatched to diagnose and repair the problem. She also keeps up our preventative maintenance schedule — the proactive services that make sure ours and our partners’ espresso machines, brewers, and water filtration systems keep performing at their best so that we can keep serving excellent coffee. Marija has the skilled hands of a craftsperson. She’s a talented ceramicist of 15 years — our kitchen cabinet at HQ is filled with mugs and bowls she’s made — and a green-thumbed gardener both at home and at work.

Ashley Delgado

she/her

Education Lead

Ashley has trained hundreds of professional and home baristas — including our retail team members and those of our wholesale partners — as Blueprint’s trainer. She teaches all eight courses in our coffee curriculum, bringing her 16 years of experience as a barista to the classroom — guiding students through the science of coffee, real-world examples and context, and hands-on practice. Ashley cares deeply about making the kind of connections with each student that help them learn. On her days off, Ashley spends her time writing, drawing — she’s a truly gifted artist — and shooting her bow and arrows at the Forest Park archery range.

James Coleman

he/him

Delivery Driver

If your coffee order was delivered on our van since the beginning of 2026, James is who delivered it. Each Tuesday through Friday morning, he loads up the van with our local delivery orders roasted the day before, checks the day’s route, and then sets off making sure every order makes it to where it needs to go. James’s care and consistency means that our coffee bars, local wholesale partners, grocery stockists, subscribers, and web customers can count on their coffee arriving safely and on time. After work, James often goes thrifting for vintage clothing and music — that’s why he always shows up to work in style!
