WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AT THE CAFÉ, AND WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THE JOB?
I currently work in fulfillment. I don’t entertain the idea of having favorites too much. However, it’s pretty amazing to witness coffee roasting and be able to drink a cup of coffee with coworkers who gladly share their knowledge with me.

WHAT PROMPTED YOUR INTEREST IN COFFEE?
I’m fairly new to the coffee industry. I just wanted to learn more about this commodity and its roasting process. Since I’ve been at Blueprint, my coworkers have taught me much about coffee profiles and identifying specific flavor notes. I do my best to practice and retain this information.
IF YOU COULD ENJOY A CUP OF COFFEE WITH ANYONE IN THE WORLD, WHO WOULD IT BE?
My grandma on my mom’s side is the first person who comes to mind. I have so many things I’d like to talk to her about. She was a farmer, an amazing cook, an excellent mushroom forager, and an amazing storyteller. I can confidently say this person is responsible for creating some of my fondest food memories.
WHAT IS YOUR GO-TO COFFEE ORDER AT BLUEPRINT?
I’ve been exploring fizzy beverages. Espresso soda is a good pick-me-up for when the roastery gets hot!!
WHAT ARE YOUR PASSIONS OUTSIDE OF COFFEE?
This year I’m really getting into designing my own garden space. I’ve been chipping away at it slowly after I get home from work. Mainly focusing on growing veggies and herbs, with a few native plants included. Also, I like riding bikes with my cohorts. It’s a nice way to explore this brick city.
ANY FACTS YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE ABOUT YOURSELF?
I’ve been a potter for over 10 years.
HOPES, DREAMS, DESIRES FOR THE FUTURE?
I’m a first-time homeowner, so all of my hopes, dreams, and desires are currently flowing in the direction of slow yet steady home renovation.
