A packaging redesign like this is always a huge undertaking. We worked on these new bags for more than two years, perfecting every detail before they hit the shelves. We’re so proud to see them out in the world now.
We approached this redesign with the same thoughtfulness and care that we bring to all we do. Undertaking this project, we challenged ourselves to incorporate more information about our coffees into their packaging, while also achieving a cleaner and more inviting aesthetic. Our solution was a clever card-based labeling system. We label each bag with a removable, interactive, and collectible card that tucks into a pocket. Pull the card out to find sourcing notes and stats about each coffee, tasting notes from our expert team, step-by-step brew guides, and spaces to take notes on your brews. It’s an interactive and delightfully tactile experience.
The bags are just as beautiful as they are functional. They’re drenched in our signature shade of vibrant blue, and the graphics are simple and clean. Our iconic cube logo is front and center. We think they make a bold and elegant display, whether on a retail shelf, on your kitchen counter, or as a well-considered gift. The thoughtful quality of the packaging matches the quality of the freshly roasted coffee inside.
Our new packaging is available on our online store, as well as on the shelves at our three St. Louis coffee bars, and at wholesale partners across the region and nation. We’re also excited to offer the 2lb size on our retail shelves for the first time. It’s a great bulk option for those looking for more value, and less packaging waste.
