Aly Camacho has been a dedicated member of the Blueprint team since July 2023. She currently serves as a barista at our Delmar coffee bar.
WHAT PROMPTED YOUR INTEREST IN COFFEE?
The one thing my dad always had in his hand was a cup of coffee. He could drink it at any time of the day and so it was always around. As I got older and became a huge foodie, cafes were always my favorite cozy environments.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOUR JOB?
That it introduced me to Abby Vose, who is my best friend at work and in life.


WHAT SKILLS OR LESSONS HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM WORKING IN THE COFFEE INDUSTRY THAT CARRY OVER TO OTHER PARTS OF YOUR LIFE?
I've learned to be more disciplined in work and in life by improving my focus, problem-solving skills. and accomplishing my goals. A lot of love goes into a good cup.
WHAT IS YOUR GO-TO DRINK ORDER AT BLUEPRINT?
Large hot oatmilk matcha. I’ll also drink anything with decaf — it’s actually what brought me to Blueprint.

WHAT ARE YOUR PASSIONS & INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF COFFEE?
I have a huge passion for vintage clothing, and I’ve modeled for local clothing brands like Patrick Ray Dolan and Retro 101 on Cherokee.
I love anything creative; I've always been interested in photography and digital art. I’m currently working on digital illustration with a local record label, Paradise Is a Frequency.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO GO OR THING TO DO IN ST. LOUIS?
My favorite things to do are supporting local businesses in St. Louis, whether it be food, coffee, record shops or vintage clothing stores.

WHAT DO YOU APPRECIATE MOST ABOUT THE DELMAR COMMUNITY?
I love all the connections I've made with customers. I try to remember everybody’s names and orders as best as I can because I love seeing people smile when they feel remembered.
