Henry and Verana Gabor have been churning out delicious lot after delicious lot since setting up their initial coffee farm, Maputo, in Pichincha, Ecuador. Their ability to produce single-variety complex and bright lots is quite astounding. All of the coffees we’ve samples and sourced from them have reminded us of great washed Ethiopian coffees.

Since starting their Maputo farm and our initial visit in 2013, they have purchased the neighboring farm, Hanukah Matata. Rancho Tio Emilio is owned by Henry’s brother, Jose and has been incorporated into Maputo’s processing, separation, and export practices.
