Fresh Crop Tasting
August 29 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pmFree – $15
Our Fresh Crop Tastings give participants a chance to taste and explore our new coffees. A member of the Blueprint team presents information on each coffees. For example, they may share farm information, processing methods, or other origin statistics. In addition, our team brews samples of each. The event is casual and conversational, therefore guests should feel comfortable asking questions.
Our event in August takes place at our Watson Coffee Bar. We will present the following three coffees.
Worka – Legese Lemiso is a single origin coffee from Ethiopia. We sourced this in collaboration with Moplaco and Collaborative Coffee Source. The coffee possesses floral, delicate, and citric flavors.
Finca Esperanza again makes it way to our offering list. This farm, owned by the Vizcaino family, collaborates annually with Blueprint on projects ranging from soil, to solar drying, to yeast application.
Husen Adem premiers on our offering sheet in late August. The coffee came our way through connections with Ture Waji at Dambi Uddo Agro Industry PLC and Tim Hill of Atlantic Specialty. This natural processed coffee turns heads with its fruit, sweet, and funky flavors.
Our origin partnership vision guides us to connect the producers of our coffees with the consumers who enjoy them. As a result, these connections create mutually beneficial relationships.
The Fresh Crop Tasting is open to the public and free. VIP tickets are available for up to 8 attendees and include prime seats and coffee bean samples of each coffee to take home.
