We are seeking interested, unique, and passionate individuals interested in pursuing a career in customer service to fill a couple of open barista positions at Blueprint. Responsibilities

• Serving guests of Blueprint Coffee

• Positive and proactive approach to helping guests

• Positive communication and reception of orders to/from team members

• Preparing coffee, tea, and other beverages

• Preparing food and items from the kitchen

• Washing dishes

• Running food and drinks to tables

• Clearing dishes from customer’s tables

• Restocking supplies

• Assisting in ordering supplies from vendors

• Cleaning and upkeep of the space

• Learning about coffee taste profiles and origin information

• Positively communicating coffee information appropriately to guests

• Upkeep of a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the dining room and behind the bar

 

Benefits

• Hourly pay starting at $9/hr (or commensurate of experience)

Required experience/skills

• Ability to clearly and positively communicate in high traffic commercial situations

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Apple iPad/iOS

• Ability to learn and retain information on a number of products, many of which change seasonally

• Comfort working with and taking direction from team members of any sex, gender, race, age, or religious creed

• one year in customer-service position
