New coffees, just in time for big occasions

We have been busy in the production area at Blueprint lately. Amidst piles of new green-coffee bags, we’ve been tinkering away and dialing in a new group of coffees. We plan to unveil new coffees slowly in the future, but the way our sales worked out over the last two months, it seems like we’ll rotate in three new coffees over the next couple of weeks.

To celebrate these new coffees, we will be offering free samples of the Aramo and Karimukui starting today until we run out.

We will celebrate these coffees at our Grand Opening Party on Saturday, December 7th. Stop by the coffeebar for an invitation.

Here’s what you should know about the new coffees:

Aramo Grade 1, Ethiopia will be replacing Adulina. This is a juicy and lush coffee from Yirgacheffe that is naturally processed. Expect big body and sweetness in the cup, along with a plethora of ripe fruit.

Inza, Colombia will be replacing CESMACH. Expect that approachable chocolate-y sweetness with a touch more acidity and a little less body than the CESMACH. This will be a constant espresso offering at Blueprint (while supplies last….)

Lastly, Karimukui AA Top, Kenya will replace Kagumoini. Expect lush red fruits with a touch more zip (lime…blackberry). This will be our unofficial holiday coffee, and we have a slightly suggestive label to match. This is a great coffee to cut through all the heavy flavors of the holidays. Perfect with a slice of pecan pie or cranberry cobbler.

If you are starting to think about holiday gifts, check in the store or online soon – in addition to our great coffees, we will also be offering gift cards and some lovely new Kleen Kanteen thermal tumblers.
